Wholesale Agreement

1. Eligibility

Wholesale accounts are available to registered businesses operating in Japan, including restaurants, retail shops, distributors, and corporate food service operators. Valid business registration documentation required.

2. MOQ & Pricing

Minimum order quantities apply per product category. Wholesale pricing available to approved accounts only and not disclosed publicly. Prices subject to change with 30 days notice.

3. Payment terms

Payment is due upon order placement unless a credit arrangement has been agreed in writing. Accepted payment methods are bank transfer, credit card, PayPay, and convenience store (konbini) payment, all processed via Komoju, plus cash on delivery where applicable. For convenience store payment, the order is reserved and dispatched once payment is confirmed.

Invoices are issued in Japanese Yen (JPY). Late payments may result in suspension of the wholesale account until the outstanding balance is settled.

 4. Delivery

We deliver to all 47 prefectures in Japan via Yamato Transport and other carriers as applicable. Delivery times are typically 2–4 business days from dispatch, subject to carrier schedules and regional conditions.

Fresh and frozen products are shipped in temperature-controlled packaging. Orders combining different temperature ranges are dispatched as separate shipments, each with its own delivery fee.

Delivery fees for wholesale orders are charged by region, size and weight, according to the published rate table on our Shipping page. The amount shown at checkout is the final amount.

5. Returns & exchanges

Returns are accepted for products that arrive damaged, defective, or significantly different from what was ordered. Claims must be submitted within 3 business days of receipt by contacting support@shoppu.jp with photographic evidence.

Perishable, frozen, and refrigerated products are not eligible for return unless they arrive in an unacceptable condition due to our error or a carrier failure. We do not accept returns for change of mind.

Approved returns will be processed as a credit against your next order or as a refund to the original payment method, at our discretion.

6. Confidentiality

Wholesale pricing, product availability, and account-specific terms provided to approved wholesale customers are confidential. Wholesale customers agree not to disclose these details to third parties or publish them in any form, including online.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate the wholesale arrangement with 30 days’ written notice. Matsuri Commercial Co., Ltd. reserves the right to suspend or terminate a wholesale account immediately in cases of non-payment, breach of confidentiality, or conduct deemed harmful to our business or brand.

Upon termination, any outstanding invoices become immediately payable in full.
